The Grove Bench and Stool are meant to meander, intertwine, and mediate with the surrounding flora and the soft forest floor. They reflect back the absence of stagnant, rectilinear relationships in nature, wrapping around the trunk of a tree and offering a place to sit under its canopy. The bench on view is created in Monterey cypress, a fabled tree that proliferates on the Californian coast due to resilience in foggy, salty environments.

The bench and stool are available in custom sizes, and in various element-resistant species that have been naturally harvested and salvaged in Northern California.
