Artist Bio

Jess Feury is an American textile artist and designer whose work bridges fine art, craft, and functional home objects. After two decades as a pediatric art therapist and hospice practitioner, where weaving and quilting became tools for healing and remembrance, she transitioned to a full-time studio practice in 2010. Her intuitive, painterly approach to the loom embraces spontaneity, celebrating the imperfections and tactile qualities that give each piece its character. Inspired by antique textiles, folk art, and the California landscape, her woven works evoke the region's earthy palette and organic textures. Feury's work has been commissioned by renowned hospitality and residential projects, including Kelly Wearstler's Proper Hotels and Sea Ranch Lodge, and has been featured in Elle Decor, Vogue Living, Domino, and Jungalow.
